I have asked students to practice at home one division problem a day.
They are to practice dividing a two-digit number by a one-digit number with and without remainders. Example: 89 divided by 7=12Remainder 5
When students can do this division, they are to gradually work up to the 5th grade standard of dividing a 4 digit number by a 2 digit number.
